Widget Runtime Vendors, sign up to obtain all the information and tools required to build JIL-compliant widget runtimes.

Vendors can join the JIL compliance program by registering for membership. Once your vendor account is created and approved, you may download the certification package and submit your widget runtime for certification.

Get Certified

Bronze Certification
Bronze level certified platforms focus on supporting the core widget packaging and security requirements as well as delivering a rich Internet flavored platform for widget developers and device manufacturers.

Silver Certification
Silver level certified platforms are focused on delivering multimedia and messaging extensions to the JIL Widgets core foundation. Silver level widgets have easy access to utilize device media hardware for capturing camera images, and producing high quality audio. Messaging and Address Book APIs also provide facilities to read and send a variety of message types.

Gold Certification
Gold level certified platforms bring together the entire collection of core capabilities, multimedia integration, messaging extensions, PIM integration, network, location and telephony services, and embedded video playback. Gold level widgets can deliver a full rich experience on par with native applications.

Once JIL has received and reviewed your signed JIL NDA, we will contact you if there are any circumstances requiring additional attention. Upon approval, you shall receive an email notification that your account has been activated. Until then full access will not be granted.
